Terms of Service
These terms apply to quotes, vehicle purchases and removals arranged with Auckland Cash For Cars.
Quotes
Quotes are provided free of charge and are based on the information you give us about the vehicle. A quote is an estimate and remains subject to inspection on collection. If the vehicle differs materially from what was described, we may revise or withdraw the offer before it is accepted.
Ownership and authority
By accepting an offer you confirm that you are the legal owner of the vehicle, or that you are authorised by the owner to sell it, and that the vehicle is free of finance, security interests or other encumbrances. You agree to provide photo ID on collection.
Collection and payment
Pickup within the Auckland region is free. Payment is made at the time of collection once the vehicle and paperwork have been checked. Collection times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather or workload.
Personal belongings
Please remove all personal items, number plates you wish to keep, and any aftermarket parts before collection. We are not responsible for items left in a vehicle once it has been collected.
Change of ownership
We notify the change of ownership to Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency after collection. You remain responsible for the vehicle, including any licensing or infringements, up to the point of sale.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with any vehicle purchase is limited to the agreed purchase price. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986 where they apply.
