FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Everything you might want to know about selling your car for cash. Still stuck? Just call us.
How quickly can you pick up my car?
In most cases we can collect your vehicle the same day you accept the offer — often within a few hours. If you need a specific time, just let us know and we'll schedule it.
Is pickup really free?
Yes. Towing and pickup are 100% free anywhere in the Auckland region. The cash offer you receive is the cash you get — there are no deductions for towing or fees.
What condition does my car need to be in?
Any condition. Running, not running, damaged, wrecked, missing parts, failed WoF or rego — we'll still make you an offer. Be honest about the state and we'll give you an honest price.
How much will you pay for my car?
It depends on the make, model, year, condition and current scrap/parts value. Most offers range from around $300 for end-of-life scrap up to $15,000+ for newer vehicles. Call or message us for an instant quote.
How do I get paid?
Cash in hand or bank transfer — your choice. Either way, you're paid in full before we drive off with the vehicle. No cheques, no waiting for funds to clear.
Do I need to do the change-of-ownership paperwork?
No. We handle the change of ownership and any deregistration or disposal paperwork for you. Just hand over the keys and any documents you have, and we take care of the rest.
What if I've lost the registration papers?
That's fine — talk to us. In many cases we can still buy the vehicle and handle the paperwork, though it helps if you have any ID or proof you own the car.
Do you buy cars without a current WOF or registration?
Absolutely. Many of the cars we buy have no WOF or rego — that's often exactly why people want them gone. You don't need a current warrant to sell to us.
